I have been scribbling away as long as I can remember, creating adventure stories for my school friends and love stories for friends and colleagues. Closing the Circle is a novel created out of boredom with 'chick-lit' which ignores the fact that all the grown up women out there who have been there, got the t-shirt, handled it better really don't enjoy reading about it.

Working as a graphic designer, I eventually fled London for the North Norfolk coast, exchanging traffic, overpriced coffee and a broken heart for fresh air, fabulous big skies and no Starbucks within 50 miles. Don't get me wrong, too much of a good thing can stale and regular trips to London keep me running back here for peace and quiet. Who would have known that I would be happy with all this fresh air and mud?
